The core rules that govern use of Shomi during the public beta as of March 31, 2026.
By accessing or using Shomi, you agree to use the platform lawfully, provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure, and respect other users. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account and for maintaining the accuracy of information you submit to the platform.
Shomi provides a marketplace that helps customers and providers connect. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Shomi is not a party to the services performed between users and does not guarantee provider availability, service quality, pricing, or outcomes.
Providers are responsible for accurate service descriptions, availability, pricing discussions, and lawful service delivery. Customers are responsible for accurate requests, lawful use of the platform, and fair communication and review behavior.
You may not misuse the platform, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent requests or reviews, impersonate others, or upload unlawful or infringing content. Shomi may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.
You remain responsible for the content you submit, including messages, service descriptions, reviews, and profile information. By using Shomi, you allow us to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the marketplace and support customer/provider interactions.
Shomi is currently offered as a public beta. Features may change, become unavailable, or contain errors. We may modify or discontinue the service at any time.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law, or maintain platform integrity.
Unless Shomi explicitly provides a payment workflow, customers and providers remain responsible for any off-platform payment arrangements they choose to make. Shomi does not guarantee payment collection, refunds, or payout handling in the current beta.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Shomi disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from platform use.
We may update these terms as the beta evolves. Continued use of the platform after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@shomi.app.
